I work patiently with the camera and use my curiosity to compose my surroundings—even without a camera. I have a very graphic mind and am curious about how things line up sporadically.

Unintentionally and fortunate, I've worked for designers, architects, artists, and automotive brands, mainly within a commercial documentary context. Intending to create a lasting visual narrative, I develop pieces with care, passion, and perfection.

My technical knowledge is vast, which I learned by working continually for six years on advertising campaigns in Barcelona—mainly automotive campaigns— work that I did after I finished my degree in Cinematography in the same city; in that process, I learned from the best Cinematographers and gaffers worldwide who shared their technical knowledge and tolerance for challenging situations.

I enjoy natural light, soft textures, and unconventional proposals. I am very passionate about architecture, geography, how nature presents itself, 60s French cinema and techno music. I studied architecture—it has marked me in many ways— before cinematography and earned an MA in Photographic Studies in London under the tuition of Professor David Bate.

I grew up in Lima, Peru, with the sea and the best food. I feel very connected to the desert and the waves and am incredibly proud of my country.

Apart from my passion and work in cinematography, I work with photography on commercial and personal projects, and since I remember I’ve been holding a camera everywhere.
